Baca Grande Water and Sanitation District is accepting applications for a full-time Utility Maintenance Field Technician I position.

Under general supervision, the Utility Maintenance Field Technician I performs tasks to support the operation, maintenance, and servicing of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring plant operations, assisting with construction projects, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, conducting periodic inspections, maintaining records, providing customer service, and other duties as assigned. Utility Maintenance Technicians must participate in an on-call duty schedule rotation.

Starting salary range: $17–$22 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for advancement. The District offers an excellent benefits package, which includes: 160 hours of paid leave annually, 100% employer-covered health, dental, and life insurance for the employee, a 10% employer contribution to PERA retirement with an 9% employee contribution, paid training, and more.
