In this blog post we would like to bring your attention to the importance of proper flushing. Flushing things down the toilet that should not be flushed can cause problems. It can lead to blockages in pipes and even cause sewer backups in the main lines and your home. It's important to know what can and can't be flushed down the toilet.
Some people think that "flushable" wipes can be safely flushed, but that's not true. Even those labeled as "flushable" can cause major clogs that can jam pumps and block pipes. It's important to never flush baby wipes, disinfecting wipes, or any type of cloth wipe.
The only things that should be flushed down the toilet are human waste and toilet paper. Anything else, like feminine hygiene products, cotton swabs, dental floss, and paper towels should be thrown in the trash can. This can help prevent blockages in pipes and reduce the risk of sewer backups.
Remember, the toilet is not a trash can.
