Baca Grande Water and Sanitation District is accepting applications to fill a full-time position for a Utility Maintenance Field Technician I, II or III.
Position Details: Under general supervision the Utility Maintenance Field Technician I performs duties to support the operation, maintenance, and servicing of water and wastewater treatment facilities. Duties include:
monitoring plant operations; performing and assisting with construction projects; performing preventive
and corrective maintenance; conducting periodic inspections; record keeping; customer service and other
duties as assigned. Utility Maintenance Workers must participate in on-call duty schedule rotation.
Salary Range
Entry Level: $18-$22 per hour
Level I operator licenses: $20-$25 per hour
Level II operator licenses: $23-$29 per hour

Baca Grande Water and Sanitation District is accepting applications for two full-time
seasonal Utility Maintenance Worker positions.
Under general supervision, the Utility Maintenance Worker assists with the operation and
maintenance of the District’s water and wastewater facilities. Duties include, but are not limited
to, sewer collection system cleaning and inspection, fire hydrant maintenance, distribution
system valve maintenance, weed control, and various other maintenance and labor tasks as
assigned.
Position Details: This position is limited to 480 hours (approximately 12 weeks at 40 hours per
week). The pay is $18.00 per hour.
