2010 SPECIAL DISTRICT ELECTION INFORMATION
IMPORTANT DATES|| CANDIDATES FOR BGWSD BOARD OF DIRECTORS || STATE INITIATIVESMay 4, 2010 Election: Three seats on the Board are currently up for election. The District has received self nomination forms from five members of the community. The District will conduct a mail ballot election. Registered voters that live in the District, own property within the District, or are married to the owner of property in the District will receive a ballot in the mail. Ballot questions will include:
- Candidates for the Board
- The removal of term limits for Directors serving on the Board
- Authorization to refund outstanding debt
Proposition 101 and Amendments 60 and 61 have been certified for the November 2010 ballot by the Colorado Secretary of State. Each of these initiatives would put significant new restrictions on the finances of the State of Colorado and its local governments.
